Three days in the capital of England will give you ample time to see the sights, including Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and Buckingham Palace. Take advantage of guided tours of St. Bride’s Church and the Imperial War Museum. Wrap up your time in London with a theater production at Shakespeare’s Globe and a walking tour of the Inns of Court.
Then it’s on to Caen via ferry across the English Channel. Highlights of this stop include the Peace Memorial, Omaha Beach, the Normandy American Cemetery, and Mont-Saint-Michel—a mainland commune turned island by the tide.
