Northern Serenade

March through a Viking settlement in Haugesund

Absorb the breathtaking views of northern Europe as you journey to multiple countries, including Iceland, Scotland, and Denmark.

Your 12-night journey aboard Insignia starts in Reykjavík, Iceland’s capital. Here, feast your eyes on Hallgrímskirkja, enjoy the geothermal powers of the Blue Lagoon, and admire the dynamic street art.

Next, sail to the small town of Tórshavn and experience the beautiful fjords, farms, and waterfalls. Even smaller is Lerwick, a cosmopolitan seaport town filled with rugged moors, lush valleys, and petite Shetland ponies.

In Haugesund, see a reconstructed Viking farm before spending the following day in Kristiansund. There, you can indulge in upscale dining and shopping or stroll the old quarter, which is lined with charming wooden houses.

Oslo, the next port, is a remarkable balance of stunning natural beauty and a thriving urban atmosphere. Highlights of this stop include Frogner Park, the Norwegian National Gallery, and Akershus Fortress.

Dine at one of more than 15 Michelin-starred restaurants in Copenhagen before traveling to Lübeck. There, pass under Holstentor—a brick Gothic city gate—and bask in the beauty of St. Mary’s Church.

Your journey will end in London, but first, cruise the Kiel Canal to Zeebrugge or spend the day exploring Brussels and its famed Grand Place.
