Widely known for its abundant wildlife, other worldly geothermal features, and stunning vistas, Yellowstone is an immersive experience. Join us as we take an in-depth look at what many consider to be the first national park in the world. A visit to Yellowstone wouldn’t be complete without a chance to view its diverse wildlife. We will start our wildlife experience at the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery center where expert guides and naturalists will lead us on a Yellowstone Wildlife Safari. Hear about the history of Yellowstone with IU alumni Staffan Peterson, Park Archeologist, and, Jessi Gerdes, Park Librarian.
We will finish our journey with two nights in scenic Jackson Hole where we will explore Grand Teton National Park, enjoy a scenic float trip on the Snake River, and visit the National Museum of Wildlife Art. Explore the “Crown Jewel” of America’s National Parks. Go see Mammoth Hot Springs, Midway Geyser Basin, and Old Faithful for yourself.
