Karen earned her BA in journalism from the former Ernie Pyle School of Journalism (now the Media School) at Indiana University and an MSA in advertising from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.

Crystal received her BA in psychology from Indiana University, and she earned her JD from Duke University School of Law.

Shontrai D. Irving

Shontrai graduated from IU Bloomington with distinction with majors in criminal justice and Afro-American studies. He earned his IU School of Law degree while pursuing a master’s degree in criminal justice. He earned an MBA from Purdue University where he was named Outstanding Student by the faculty.

He received a master’s degree in communication from Purdue University–Calumet campus and an administrative license and master’s degree in education from Ball State University.
