Dr. Tiffany Kyser is the executive director of outreach and engagement for the Indiana University Alumni Association (IUAA). Prior to joining the IUAA, she was an executive leader for the Great Lakes Equity Center and senior executive for its largest project, the Midwest & Plains Equity Assistance Center in the Indiana University Indianapolis School of Education. Tiffany leads the vision, strategy, oversight, and strategic alignment of experiential (programs/events) and volunteer modes of engagement across the Indiana University system.
She has also served as the chief of staff for Charles A. Tindley Accelerated Schools—a national blue-ribbon award-winning school system: as education systems analyst for the City of Indianapolis’ Office of Education Innovation under former mayor, Gregory A. Ballard; as a K–12 language arts classroom teacher; and outreach educator for Girls Inc.
Tiffany has served in executive leadership roles across education policy, educational equity, government relations, consulting, higher education, and K–12 teaching and administration. Her service via boards, committees, and public scholarship to the fields of K–12 education, higher education, healthcare, arts, and local government is extensive.
Tiffany has received executive training at Harvard, Stanford, and Northwestern universities. She is a graduate of the Culver Girls Academy, an independent college preparatory school located in Culver, Ind., and earned a bachelor’s degree in education, a master’s degree in English, and a PhD in urban education studies from Indiana University.
